First Meeting of Belize's Consular Representatives in the United States and Canada with Leaders of the Major U.S. -Based Belizean Community Organizations, July 10, 2010 Washington, D.C.

As part of the Belize Diaspora Initiative, the Embassy of Belize along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade convened this meeting between Belize’s Consular Representatives in the U.S. and Canada,who work directly with our Belizean Diaspora,and the leaders of 22 Belizean community organizations in the U.S. with a view to working together to maximize the impact of the many activities undertaken in Belize by the Diaspora, and to agree on strategic joint objectives that would most benefit our country.
